HOW DO I SIGN UP?
It only takes a few steps to get started:
- REGISTER with USA-Experts.com. This is as simple as filling in your name and contact information.
- Collect all your information. You'll need a resume. The resume should describe our experience and abilities, and should also include contact information for professional references. Be sure to let these people know they may be contacted. Other information you'll need:
- How much will you charge? $50 per hour? $300 per day? $10,000 per month?
- The city and state where you reside (your personal address will be neither asked for nor shared on this site).
- The regions where you wish to promote yourself. Check our regions list and determine where you want to list. If you only want to work in part of a region (say only in greater Fresno) you should know this information as well.
- Be prepared to define your expertise (fir example, not just "database development", but "Access, SQL, FileMaker Pro)
- Prepare a short description of your abilities: how will a prospective employer know that you are the person for their job? This is your 20 word sales pitch, your "30-second me".
- How many years of experience do you have in this particular skill set?
- Determine how many specialties you want to be listed in. Each expertise category is a separate registration. However, you can sign up in multiple regions for a single registration.
- Upload your resume in PDF form. Remember that your resume must have your professional references included.
- Watch your email and monitor your phone. Prospective employers could conceivably contact you within an hour or two of the time you completed registrsation.
